Sam Worthington talks Avatar sequels
Whilst Harry Potter has spent the summer making merry at the box office, one can only imagine Jim Cameron watching on (possibly stroking a white cat) and plotting his revenge. And according to star Sam Worthington, the 3D mastermind is already hard at work on Avatar 2 and 3."Jim talked to me on my birthday," revealed Worthington at a recent press day for spy thriller The Debt. "In regards to Avatar, he's writing the bible, at the moment, which is a precursor to Avatar 1 and the whole world, basically."I think it's just to get Jim's mind back into the characters and back into the world. He's told me where he wants to take Avatar 2 and 3, and it's monumental. It's just huge."Far from being daunted by the prospect of shooting back-to-back films, Worthington simply can't wait to return to Pandora."I love it," he continues. "I'd do 10 [sequels] with Jim! I love working with him. He raises the bar and gives you the courage to jump over it, and he keeps pushing. He changes your life. He hasn't just changed my life career-wise. He's changed my life as a man."Praise indeed, although Avatar 2 won't be the first big sequel we'll see Worthington return for. That distinction will go to Clash Of The Titans 2:"[The first film] made a shitload of money," laughs Worthington. "A lot of people went and saw it. I've just finished that and I loved it! Clash 2 is so different. It was a different experience for me because I'd learned a lot from Clash 1, and I'd learned a lot from other movies. I can't wait for it to come out."Clash Of The Titans 2 arrives in UK cinemas on 30 March 2012. Avatar 2 has yet to receive a release date. Over to you, Jim...

Tom Six Talks The Human Centipede 3
'It'll make 2 look like a Disney film'With the banning of The Human Centipede 2, Dutchman Tom Six has carved a gory niche for himself as cinema's provocateur of the moment. In person, though, he's a disarmingly gentle soul and a far cry from the extreme horrorhead of repute, the man on whom the BBFC recently brought its censorship powers to bear. Speaking at Empire Presents... Big Screen, Six had some more bad news for the British Board of Film Classification: Human Centipede 3 is going to "make the last one look like a Disney film". Before you scour the Disney back catalogue for the one where Goofy and Pluto form a lovable doggie-pede, there really isn't one. Basically, expect a lot more shocks and more boundary-pushing from an unchastened Six. "We're going to shoot the third film entirely in America and it's going to be my favourite," he enthused to a Big Screen crowd. "It's going to upset a lot of people. "The director also confirmed that part three would be the last of his Centi-series, in a stitch guaranteeing cinema its most extreme trilogy (sorry Blade). No word on whether it would finish with one end of the centipede discovering that the other end is his father, but we can only hope not. Despite his protestations, Six was asked if he might feel a temptation to dust off the sandpaper for a fourth instalment. "No. Never, ever. "Six criticised the BBFC's decision to ban The Human Centipede 2 ("the wrong decision") and suggested that his use of British actors may have been a factor in the decision. But he's staunchly refusing to take the snippers to controversial scenes. "I hate cutting but I'm jealous that you can buy A Serbian Film here, but you can't see mine. If it's made here you need to be able to see it. "One audience member asked Six if he expected Hollywood to add Human Centipede to its roster of horror remakes. "With Tom Cruise on his hands and knees?" joked the Dutchman. "No, I'm not sure but I'd love to direct it. "The Human Centipede 2 is out now. The Human Centipede 2 is also not out now. It's a little confusing.
