Ough Gervais provides relatively inoffensive monologue
"So, where was I?" requested Ough Gervais at the outset of last night's Golden Globes monologue. However, anybody expecting exactly the same type of insult-laden offend-a-thon as this past year may have been disappointed, as this time around around, things were just a little simpler around the star-filled audience.Word was doing the models prior to the ceremony that Gervais needed to turn his script directly into FPAA bigwigs for approval, and also the finish product did indeed appear to become a little tamer. Place it by doing this, Tim Allen wouldn't happen to be crying into his tuxedo this time around around.Nevertheless, Ough still found sufficient time to puncture the inflated sense worth focusing on from the ceremony in general. "For just about any individuals that do not know," he described, "the Golden Globes are similar to the Academy awards, but without everything esteem."And errant Oscar host Eddie Murphy also got a little of the groing through. "Little bit of trivia for you personally really," smirked Gervais, "Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler, together, performed all of the parts within the movie The Assistance!InchYou can view Ricky's opening monologue entirely below... Less than so skin-crawlingly awkward then, but pretty chucklesome nevertheless. Appears like a 4th consecutive year on hosting responsibilities is probably within the bag...
