Andy Serkis Signs for 'Rise in the Planet in the Apes' Follow-up

Nobody thought you will see a 'Rise in the Planet in the Apes' follow-up. Hell, nobody wanted a 'Rise in the Planet in the Apes' follow-up -- no less than, not to begin with. Back on August. 4, every day just before the film was released, the anticipation weren't high then, apparently from nowhere, the film converted to a vital darling making nearly half a billion dollars worldwide. Fast-toward three several days later and there's some not-so-surprising 'Apes' follow-up updates. Deadline reviews that Andy Serkis is close to signing a deal to reprise his role as Caesar the ape. Serkis's participation is smart there's even brief Oscar talk surrounding his portrayal in the primary character, that may continue. Deadline also reviews that Fox intentions of campaigning for which is a breakthrough nomination. There's still no official word which the follow-up might be about, though director Rupert Wyatt has thought about the idea of a 'Full Metal Jacket'-esque story. "Generation x of apes, people that have result from our protagonists, possibly moving in a conflict with humans and showing real fear, very much the same as beginning war for youthful soldiers in this era, telling their story," Wyatt told Bleeding Awesome.
