'No Place' to visit Joe's Pub
Leigh Silverman will helm concert-tuner Ethan Lipton's "Room to visitInch inside a three-week run at downtown venue Joe's Pub.Show is among the first projects to become commissioned particularly by Joe's Pub, the nightclub-performance space that's one arm of Off Broadway's Public Theater.Composed by playwright Lipton and composed and carried out through the scribe's band, Ethan Lipton and the Orchestra, the evening is presented being an ode towards the vagaries of employment dedicated to a man (Lipton) whose clients are moving to a different planet."Room to visitInch appears to talk about an identical genre-repel looseness which indicated "Passing Strange," the Stew tuner that demonstrated a success in the Public and gone to live in Broadway.Silverman has labored in the Public previously on shows including "Well," "Within the Wake" and "Yellow Face.""Room to visitInch starts perfs March 14 in front of a March 21 opening.
